FLEX AI Work Area Monitoring for Telehandlers to Help Prevent Accidents
The FLEX AI system from WorkWarn supports telehandler operators with advanced AI technology to help prevent pedestrian accidents on construction sites, in public spaces, and on public roads.
The cameras work together as a fully integrated AI-based monitoring system. Multiple cameras monitor the entire area around the vehicle. The AI technology analyzes the camera feeds in real time and reliably detects pedestrians. Potential hazards are displayed to the operator well in advance.

Telehandler Warning Zones – WorkWarn
Work Area Monitoring
High-performance cameras with artificial intelligence monitor the work area and blind spots. Each camera image can be displayed individually on a monitor.
An LCD display shows the operator exactly where and at what distance an obstacle is located.
With a specialized AI camera configuration, pedestrians can also be detected directly in front of the bucket and an appropriate warning can be issued to the operator.
Telehandler – Warning Zones
The system features specific warning zones for regular work operations, public road traffic, and construction site security.
A key advantage of the WorkWarn system is that no additional large monitor is required. All critical information is displayed on a small LCD screen located directly in the operator’s field of vision.
Turn Asssist for Public Road Traffic (Optional)
If the vehicle is also operated on public roads, the system provides an additional turn-assist function. It reliably detects pedestrians, e-scooter riders, and cyclists.
Rear-View Camera with RAS (Reversing Assistant System)
The rear-view camera image can be displayed on a monitor.
The rear-view camera features an advanced reversing assistant equipped with integrated pedestrian detection.
Stop-and-Go Bypass Function (Optional)
If a worker needs to approach the vehicle to speak with the operator, the operator can temporarily deactivate the warning zone using the Stop-and-Go button.
An external green indicator light signals to the worker that the operator has seen them and that they may approach the vehicle.
Construction Site Security (Optional)
The FLEX AI system can also be used to help secure the entire construction site.
Vehicles can be deployed to monitor the site for potential theft and vandalism, reducing the need for expensive external security solutions.
